We were again lucky enough to be a part of a joint performance with Hālau Hula O Wailehua under the direction of Kumu Kekoa Yap in Palm Springs California. We also danced with The Makana Sons of Niʻihau – there is nothing like dancing to live music from the artists themselves!

For our second ever performance dancing live with the original artists of the mele, we joined Hālau Hula O Wailehua and Hula Hālau Ka Lehua Uluwehi I Ka Lani under the direction of Kumu Kekoa Yap & Kumu Ululani Cortez respectively. After the kahiko portion of the show, The Makaha Sons of Niʻihau came out and stage and were nothing but gracious people and amazing musicians. We were honored to be able to dance with them.
