Such a comfort of familiarity returning to our traditions! This year was the debut of our own custom fabric for our hālau pāʻū! It was quite the undertaking to have the entire hālau make new pāʻū in time for Hoʻopuka, but we did it! We welcomed the waʻa of this papa back to shore on May 12th, 2023. Kainalu Hochstim again led the Beginning Keiki Papa ʻUkulele and Kainani Quezada-Urak led her first Beginning Adults Papa ʻUkulele to this graduation day. Hoʻomaikaʻi to Papa Lehua, Papa Lehua Makanoe, Papa ʻUkulele & Papa Liko!
