We were honored to welcome the Nā Koa Aliʻi Hawaiʻi All State Marching Band back to Pasadena for the 2024 Tournament of Roses Parade. This is their first appearance back after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A handful of these students had also recently undergone the hardships of losing everything to the Lahaina fires which occurred in August of 2023. We were invited to perform a short, surprise welcome ceremony to extend some aloha from the mainland right before their moving presentation at Bandfest. Imua Nā Koa Aliʻi!
